the only catch is that you won't be able to register the vehicle or drive it on US roads without making the necessary modifications (bumpers, etc.) to make the vehicle compliant with US safety and emissions regulations. After making the modifications, you'll have to crash test and emissions test the vehicle to prove it passes regulations before you'll be permitted to certify and drive the car on roads. That's where Motorex makes their $ as they've had their modifications approved so they charge you for the modifications and distribute the cost of their initial testing across all the vehicles they sell.
