Hey guys,
Many of you know about the white TTZ that was for sale via email to affiliates and members of the COTZ in austin. Well, i bought the car and have finally gotten a verdict on whats wrong with it. I did compression test on it, got back (cyl.1-6): 152, 90, 40, 110, 35, 45. yeah, pretty bad, i thought i did the test wrong or my guage messed up, but then i did another TT Z that i built an engine for and came out 160-170 across all 6 cylinders, so that tells me that the other engine is in need of some help. I added oil to the low cyls. and got 150's, so the rings are shot, and maybe some loss through the valves and head gasket. The car has 150K so im just going to rebuild the whole thing and drive it.
So what i have to do is build up another engine over the summer, oh well, thats what the summer is for!
i also have to replace the wiring harness from the firewall out, cuz im not getting any ignition signals to any coils or to the ecu, which SUCKS!Just lettin ppl know who are curious about the car from the COTZ, who wanted to know.
