Message psi in oil pressure vs. piston cooling seems to me that I'd just build the engine a little tighter to keep the oil pressure up and keep the pistons cool. When I rebuilt my engine I went under the Nissan spec on rod and main bearings. At 180 degreesF at 5000RPM I am making nearly 90psi of oil pressure. The rod bearings are just a weak point and that journal needs the most attention in comparison to any other part of the engine. Oil pressure IS good. :)
