Subject	Is the headlight housing supposed to be "soft" white?

Message	I'm talking about the circular headlight housing...not the 9005 bulb or the outer housing... I noticed mine isn't "clear" and it looks "soft white"...and i've seen some pictures of the headlight units where the bulb housing seemed very clear...so i was wondering if 91 NAs had a "soft-white" housing...i would hate to pull it out to clean it up and realize that's the way they're supposed to be...my headlights i noticed were noticeably dimmer than any other car on the road...
