Message manufacture of that chameleon paint has different ingredients. Although some have a similar process, such as lazer grinding the glass and aluminum composite into powder, others use synthetic materials and grind them up in a different method. And since most of these paints have the same color scheme (cyan to purple, blue to red, green to silver, purple to orange), there's no way to create a hybrid combination (such as: yellow to blue, etc.)

Although one thing that I really like about this paint is that it's easier to match than conventional paints. So long as you use the same paint manufacture, the color is the same. There's also only three steps to apply the paint (primer, paint, clear coat). There's no matching, because even in it's liquid form, it changes color. A lot of people assume that it's a pearl, but it's not. I get old folk, and ignorants alike that insist that my paint is a pearl, when it's not.

So even though it's expensive (depending on the manufacture), it's worth it to stand out from ordinary everyday car colors.

Does that answer your question?
