You are making one BIG assumption and that is that BOTH filter elements will ALWAYS filter the same/have the same restriction. Imagine the scenario where one is considerably more restricted than the other (either due to contamination or other). That will make the engine PULL MOSTLY from the other intake either making the engine run lean/rich since your MAS measures only one side (Just like JWT only your design will DO it twice as much). The only way to do this properly is to use 2 MAS sensors and have a small hose or a design like yours but with less common area between the pipes connected between them to level the voltage/dampen the IAC valve's pull from the D. side. I'm not saying it won't work, but the above concerns seem valid at least in principle, unless you are monitoring the TPS signal and can correct for such conditions or some other tunning magic ;)

PS: I'm asumming your MAS placement is close to the intakes.
