Message Took my 1990 TTZ in to get a J-Spec front fascia and wing installed. I am also having the entire car painted and replacing some rubber door seals. When I dropped the car off I showed the body shop manager the box containing the black plastic strip (The one with the center brake light that's installed just above the tail lights and runs across from left to right). I had marked it "Fragile" and opened it to show the manager that it was not broken. I also advised the manager that it was a very "Fragile" piece and to be careful when handling and installing it. Well, the worker bees broke it while trying to install it. The manager told me it was a good thing I showed it to him unbroken. Guess someone was trying to claim it was already broken when delivered? End result is the shop will absorb the cost for buying a new part. Got the fascia from OppamanZ and the strip from Coz. And of course, the great help from YugoBernie in taking off the old flush mounted 1990 wing and rewiring my front corners so they would work as turn signals (Yes, 1999 fascias have front corner lights that just come on and do not blink - You have to do some modifications to convert them to turn signals-OppamanZ was great in walking me through the process) . I will post pics and give credit to all involved when I get my car back - five weeks and counting. TT-Z
