Why do something half-assed? If you plan on spending any money on the car, you might as well, be patient and save up for good parts. I am getting ready to replace the clutch, throw-out bearing, and flywheel in my '91 TT and I am gettin the RPS 4-Puck Clutch and TOB, and RPS Flywheel. All together, as a DIY job, it will cost me about $600 for the parts. If I have a shop install the parts (which requires me to drop the transmission), it could cost me $6-800 just for the labor. Take your time... do it right.
