Message Thought since I have some time on my hands, I'd break down the Yellow Z today.

Cutting the welding tips and drilling the holes a tad bigger than .035

Yanked those damn Yellow rims off and gave the Black Z's rims to it, since I have new ones picked out for the Black one.

Oh my. Can you say " Help Me? ".

Hard to see, but All Black Calipers with Silver Nissan with Yellow screws as accents. Painted the rotor and suspension parts behind it all same Black. Using high temp paint.

Next was the rocker panels all the way around the car. Years of driving it on the roads has left bad black marks, dirt and just plan nasty looking all under the car. It needed help bad.

Hard to see, but nasty

Better look but still in person was bad.

So I washed the whole under side with soap and water. Towel dried it. Next I taped all around it using electrical tape, because it will not hurt the paint when taking it off. I went to Wal-Mart to match the panels and came out with ColorPlace Sun Yellow. Was a prefect match.

As you can see, you need to paint and let it dry and you'll see the uneven spots and just go back over it. You'll need two cans for sure to do the whole car right. The paint will fill in all the scratches even after a few coats.

Once it drys, it's looks brand new again. Not bad for a Ghetto fix and I do the same thing for the Black Z ;).

What it looks like when it's all together.

As you can see, the rocker panels come out as new and the paint was only $1.01 a can. Just take your time and make sure it's even when dried.

The brakes new look and see that small yellow over spray on the black pin stripe? It's a rubber tape and you can rub the over spray off with your finger. Other than that, looks nice.
