| what part of the tire actually touches the ground. Wide tires on thin wheels will bow inward, not have nearly the contact patch they're capable of, and look like ass. You're basically screwed as far as getting an aggressive stance, or any kind of traction/handling benefits from your setup because the wheels are so thin. BTW, everyone isn't saying they're too thin because we just happen to like wide wheels. The sizes are thinner than what came on your TT stock. Basically, you've spent money to go backwards down the performance ladder. You have two reasonable choices from this point on. 1) Sell/return the wheels and buy a more suitable size. If price is an issue, even companies like ADR make wheels in good sizes for the Z at reasonable prices. (recommended). 2) Go with the tire size FAQ and get the tire sizes that correspond to your wheel width. This will make the best of a bad situation by not totally compromising your handling, not to mention the tire will fit the wheel so it'll look half decent.
