injector size, rev limiter, speed limiter, VTC release, VQ table, all the good stuff in the ECU. The AshSPEC ECU upgrade does not have this functionality - it serves as an eprom upgrade with properly remapped primary and secondary fuel and timing maps to allow for safe running of higher boost levels. Other parameters such as the speed limiter is raised to 315MPH, the rev limiter is set to 7450, the ignition dwell duty is increased for higher boost levels to generate a hotter spark, VTC is changed to optimize for exhaust manifold backpressure (to maintan the torque at high load/high RPM), and the version string is set to "AshsZ" just so you'll know with a Consult, ConZult, or Techtom that you indeed have the best programming available. It is a more extensive and complete tune over what is currently out on the market (JWT, Dinan, superchips, etc etc - I've seen them all). There are 150+ units out there now all running with great success since March of 2002. There are people in Germany running my program who see autobahn speeds of 120+ daily and they have no issues. I have provided personal support to all of these people who have my program and I also offer FREE program upgrades for when you modify your car (injectors, turbos, etc etc). Just pay the shipping and its on its way. That's just my ECU upgrade too - The ZEMulator is just around the corner and it offers much more. ECU upgrades are available at Z1 Motorsports. (1-770-562-8668) Last time I checked, the upgrade is $325 plus a core charge of $250 until they recieve your ECU back in exchange. Core charges can be avoided if you send your ECU first. The upgraded ECU comes with boost jets (for the twinturbo guys) and dyno results are available to those interested in seeing what other cars of the same mod level produce (HP/TQ/AF/PSI).
