| stock turbos and stock intercoolers. People say stickers add horsepower - BS. Its all in the wrist. ;-) 413RWHP@430ft/lbs Torque, stock turbos, stock intercoolers. Rag all you want on my shifter. =) You've never seen my interior before I guess. Its in a few places on my website - even the construction of it. Here - let me enlighten you on building your own stuff rather than just spending big on nonsensical hard parts (pun intended). =) Ok, I wasnt about to shuck out $300 for a lathe to work a $5 piece of wood, so.... I just made my own. I had to hunt for two of the lathe components at local hardware stores and then convince a store manager to let me buy the last spindle bit he had on a demo lathe. This took about an hour to construct and it is fully adjustable from 3" to 1.75' and works like a champ. Below are shots from a video I took of the process.
I also picked up some lathe cutting tools from Home Depot. Nice looking set but they cost about $40 and after using them I figured I could have actually made them myself from some steel stock. But why make everything? LOL :-)
This is the beginnings of the shift knob - first cut for the base.
Base cut completed and top notch cut.
The piece is cut for two galleys for your fingers and the top is rounded.
 Getting a coat of stain....
And here you see the two shift knobs. The one on the right was the first one I made and I wasnt happy with it, so I made the one you see on the left. Some of the girls have mentioned that it appears a little on the phallic side, but I tell em they get what they pay for. LOL
And dont forget all of the other fabrication I did to produce the rest of the interior - AshSPEC style:

Down position
 Up position
We wont get into the NA->TT conversion, the brake fab, the turbo rebuilds, the fiberglass work, or even the complete computer install of the truck which was another feat of fabrication. =) As for the queer as folk comment - hardly. Not only am I not queer, I have proven my Darwinian fitness: My boy:
