If you don't get any codes then it is a physical problem. Have you ever changed the tranny fluid? If not, it is a very simple DIY job. All you need is a set of car ramps(I recommend Rhino Ramps), a socket set with an extension and a 10mm socket, about 6 quarts of ATF(I use Mobil 1 synthetic ATF) and a transmission kit(contains a new filter and gasket). You might find out that is your only problem. If that doesn't fix it, take it to a local Nissan dealer. They will usually check the whole car and possibly diagnose the problem with your transmission for $60-$100. Mine cost about $60, but they might charge more in Alabama, dunno.
