My thoughts are to build the tranny to shift hard and quick. Then have the SAW to contol it all. By theory, if I can keep the turbos at an elevated boost level and have the tranny shifts quick, it should be the best that an auto can do on the 1/4 mile. I don't know enough about my auto-trans but I would think that I could build it to slip as little as possible. Some of the fastest 1/4 mile street cars I have seen, had a built auto-trans. i.e. vettes, and typhoons.
