Message aight, here's the idea. i take a stock turbo, remove the exhaust impeller section and modify the shaft connecting the exhaust impeller to the intake impeller (making it shorter). then i would attach a radial gear (pinion) to the modified shaft interfaced to another radial gear(spur) creating a gear ratio of 1:8 (meaning that the gear on the modified shaft rotates 8 times for every one rotation of the gear that it interfaced with). the spur gear would have a shaft that comes out of the center and would interface with a pully from one of the crank pullies. I have an 85'Z and all the belts are exposed, so i can do this. The diameter of the pully attached to the spur would be such a diameter so that the final gear ratio equaled 1:8. At idle, aprox 800rpm, the impeller would be rotating at aprox. 6400rpm and at red line (aprox 6400rpm) the impeller would be rotating at aprox. 51200rpm. This rpm can be radically changed by adjusting the final gear ratio to any spec i desire(within the limitations of the turbo's specs...100,000rpm). I plan to drive the "turbo" using the gear box that interfaces with one of the belts from the crank. my plan is to route the air directly into the intake tract. I have access to a full metal shop, im familiar with every tool, and am anal about perfection and tolerances. Granted i make this think CORRECTLY....would it work? will it produce umm appropriate psi and cfm levels to actually do anything. Minus the modification i would have to do to the EEPROM in the ECU and the injectors...that will come later. oh and i have the design drafted and can send it via email to anybody who wants to see it.

DISCLAIMER: this is my friend posting NOT ME. i personally think he's a complete moron but i ask that if you respond to the post, give him some constructive advice and don't resort to attacks on a personal level, i.e. what a dumbass etc. etc. (my job) i dared him to post this online so what do you guys think?
