Message I know, I had one.

buy a lower miles one and good luck finding it for college-kid prices.

want a reliable, FAST and great car that is VERY reliable for the same price as any used FD?

I've been seeing E36 BMW M3s for less than $16K these days. Buy one. I own one, I used to own an FD. The BMW has been trouble-free and fast and fun. The FD--especially when blown more than stock, is a pain. Just waking up to a injector leak and finding you have to dry the inside of the motor out to be able to start it because it's flooded and WILL NOT start??

that happened way too many times, and was a problem with stock FDs as well as more hi-po ones.

working on BMWs is also a treat. all connectors connect back up nicely without degradiong or feeling somehow damaged from disconnecting them in the first place. Stuff is easy to reach. etc.
