Message	hopefully you'll get a better job then the one you had before. At least your not completly alone in the world. You have your G/F that seems like she has some powerfull connections. Now seems like the perfect time to polish up your resume and start the hunt for the "perfect" job. Also apply for jobs that might be 'a tad out of your reach'. Just because you dont have "all" of the experience doesnt mean that they wont hire you. Good luck with your job search.
