Message NA will be cheaper than TT.

You can take out a high deductible (say, $1k) to reduce the price of your comprehensive and collision insurance. The downside is that you will have to pay the first $1k of any claim.

I don't think that a 94NA or TT will qualify for "exotic insurance". The book value of such a car is certainly far less than $20k. Not sure what measure they use to determine whether a car is an exotic, but hopefully it's not price.

Pull insurance off the car or reduce it to the bare minimum coverage during the winter if you won't be driving it.

See if you qualify for a mileage discount- less than 7.5K miles per year is often cheaper.

Insure 2 cars with the same company and get a discount- usually 15 percent.

See if your work has a discount with a specific insurer- essentially a corporate "group buy" on insurance.

Don't get in any accidents or speeding tickets. If the cheapest you found was $3600/yr, you are either pretty young or have a lousy driving record. A couple of points will certainly increase your premium.

Good luck!

:I am looking to buy a 94 300z na or tt depending on price. I have price out the insurance a bit and the lowest I found was $3600 per year. This car would be just a summer car for me. I have inquired about exotic insurance which requires the car to be gargaged, unfornately I do not have one just a car port. I live in Staten Island, New York does anybody have advice for me?
