Alright, dropped one of my friends off in my durango, and me and another friend decided to take his 4wheeler path off road to another road. To start the path there is a 3 foot tall dirt pile on the right, after a dip, then immediatly a 4 foot hill on the left. Well in 4 wheel low, we managed to easily get over those, then it was a nice stroll throught the roads, but it was a pretty tight path for a durango, but not too bad..then we come to the final stretch,,I see the jump, its a jump that is about 2-3 feet tall, there is a puddle right before it which adds some good effects.. I give it some gas, and go over it, you could tell that we got airborn but figured only like 5-6 inches. Because it didnt even seem to be out of control at all. So my friend and I are thinking wow that is sweet, lets do it again but you watch this time. So my friend gets out to watch. I back up, and start my run again, this time I give it a little more but pretty much the same amount of gas as the first time..well I hit it and figured , "eh only another 5-6 inches". I stop and I look back and my friend is freaking out and laughing so hard! He walks over and tells me that i got 1 1/2 to 2 feet off the ground. OMG that was sweet, next time well get pictures. This proves that durangos have nice suspension because it didnt even feel as if I was losing any control of the vehicle. Plus they climbed those dirt piles with ease. Just thought Id tell you of todays adventures.. lol and this isnt a billy b. story :)
