Subject	same sound problem

Message	ok...a few months back..befor i did the actual install i made a post and BDz32 (FL) replied with this post: [ http://www.twinturbo.net/net/viewmsg.aspx?forum=general&msg_id=787394 ] saying that painting it can matter and dont be surprised if it drives it into protection mode. seeing as how thats what light comes on....makes sense. BUT! today a friend of mine has the EXACT same amp...EXACT same...except its not painted....we hooked it up in my car the SAME way it was hooked up in his. he is powering ONE Kicker sub with it...with the same size wireing...for all the wires. his works fine in his car...but does not work in mine, it does the same thing my amp does, goes into protection mode and cuts out for a moment...then comes back. SO! explain to me how this is. i have regrounded it...so thats not it. and if his wires, power/ground/speaker, are all the same size as mine, and it works fine in his...how can it not work in mine. thanks for any help u guys got left...and all the help u already gave, i just wish something woudl work....thanks
