| You will need breaks more than the car will. It's a machine. As long as it has gas it will keep on running. Your radiator keeps the engine from overheating. Your engine will get as hot as it will get after a few minutes. After that the thermostat opens and your radiator keeps it at a certain temperature. The heat doesn't just keep building up the entire time you're driving or anything like that. I drove my Z to Detroit and back. It ran great. If your car is going to break, it's going to break whether you're on a long trip or not. Your car doesn't get tired and need breaks like a horse.
