Subject	should I buy the salvage rights?

Message	Insurance told me it was 1500.00 bucks to buy the salvage rights on my Z. its a 91 TT. Engine is still good. 85k on it. thing is the driver side intake cracked. I already swapped teh seats for some cash and donor seats. Tranny has a JWT HD clutch with 2k on the clutch. What's your opinion.... How hard will it be for me to recoup the 1500.00.. Thanks, MannyB
