Message	:likely. People build different cars for different reasons. If he wanted a car that was fast in the quarter-mile, he would still be cruising around in a big block chevy. His car is flawless, and he owns it for his own reasons. I still think putting a lot of effort into making an import fast in the quarter-mile is retarded. Its great that your friend built a fast supra. It won't make his car any slower if he goes to the drag strip. We go there to see what the cars are capable of. I have road race springs on my car. None of the cars that I know of from this forum have put any effort into making a drag car(except for some shops). All are street cars. Besides drag strip is good clean fun. If I had never taken my car to the drag strip I would never have learned to drive it either. After all, drivers win races not the car.
