Oh yeah, lawyers and plenty of insurance coverage. That's one of the advantages of being old. But it wasn't that clear cut. What they did was dart or swerve over in front of me to get in the turning lane and by the time of the impact they were relatively straight, so I hit them square in the back. And you know how looks under the law. It was a 2 pt. ticket and could have been a four if he'd wanted to be a real weenie about it. I'll probably appear and try to get it dropped to one -- have a witness who says she'll testify. But I don't know how it's going to affect insurance rates. I had perfectly clean record before this.
