Message	have to spend. The J-Specs are very nice and are excellent quality. But do you really want to spend $300 on tail lights? The DIY isn't all that hard and it allows you to do a custom setup with your tail lights. I wanted both the top and bottom cleared out with colored bulbs. I am happy with out it turned out. But like I said, its up to you. J-Spec looks good but is $$$, DIY can look awesome if done right. You make the call.
