Message	Have no experience with a silicon based finish. Cannot comment on that. One thing I wish I had done is add the "slip resistance" treatment to the finish. Some sort of additive that is gritty. Without it, when it gets wet is is as slick as ice! Also, If you coat the floor yourself - be sure not to mix the two part at too fast of an RPM. Mix them very slowly. Otherwise, you end up getting air bubbles in the mixture that end up poping once you coat the floor and this looks lik crap. I did this and ended up haveing to coat my floor twice to make it look nice. EASY maintenance! Looks very professional.
