bake it on there and do it right. Why don't you just polish the plenum that way it doesn't look crazy and ricey. No one here can really say anything cause this is your car and your opinion. You need to decide for yourself what you want but don't make mistakes that are irreversable like painting a plenum white then wanting to chrome or something like that at a later date. The hose idea sounds cool, but don't go too crazy it's look like a rainbow coalition under your hood... people will start asking you about leather pants and how much you like Barbara Streisand if you know what I mean. two colors at most. Just my $.02.
