Found a 89 325is on the internet and decided to check it out. 89 325is, red, 5 spd, 2 dr, 81k miles, for $6500. Went to check out the car and it looked GREAT!!!! But I noticed the price tag on the car said $4995 and not $6500. I didn't say anyhting but jotted down the VIN cause I felt uneasy. @ this point I wanted the car more then anything due to its condition, price and mileage!! But somethine didnt feel right. Came home ran a VIN check and it was clear. But then I decided to invest $14.95 @ carfax.com and get a clean vehicle history report. When the DMV had the car it had 173k miles, then sold it and was resold @ an auction 1 yr later with 79k miles. So there was a 90+k mile rollback on the odomoeter!!!! Man I culdnt believe it. But I'm sure as hell glad I didnt purchase it!!!!! I can believe people are doing this and trying to get away!!! I wreally wanna report this. Any ideas guys?
