A lot of shops doing "good" work will want to remove all possible trim and accessories to eliminate paint edges. It's better to paint around the corner of something, even if you don't see it, than to stop at the corner and take the chances that it might crack, chip or peal there. *Although*, the 90-93 spoilers are "glued" to the car if I am correct, so I'm not sure what that would do to the integrity of the spoiler if you were to remove it (assuming it's not in the best structural condition after 14 years of exposure). Anyone else?
