provided that the owner regularly changes oil every 3000 miles and gives the turbo's time to cool down before turning the engine off? can you tell me that the turbo doesn't last as long, or that the bearings fail sooner, or passages get clogged easier, and pin point it to the lack of filtration on the part of the Z31 filter, which is commonly used on the VG motors. show me that there is a difference and i can go along with a train of thought that the oil filter on the Z32 filters that much better. however, if you can't then personally, i think its a bunch of hype. Change you're oil regularly and use good oil and no addatives, and you'll be okay using any filter.
