Message	engine is running your alternator is toast. the idiot light does not work and a volm will definetely tell you when your alt is bad or starting to go bad. it should be steady at 14-15 when eng running. very useful info, im surprised it didnt come stock. G.I. Joe drives a 91NA-2+2-5sp
