A big compressor housing does not make a turbo "big" in my view. I can take a Garrett GT3037 CHRA put a To4E compressor hosuing on it and flow much more air than a HKS GT2835. The 2835 uses a TO4S compressor housing, and this is where the clearance problems come from. There is more to sizing turbos than just buying something from HKS because it is said to be good. It is a good turbo, but with our limited clearance you have 2 choices, cut the frame, or get the same CHRA but assembled with a different housing.
