Message But there has to be an ultimate purpose for modding a car.
if it's for looks, then I will proceed to call him names.
if it's for dyno 'racing', then I will proceed to call him names.
if it's for real motorsports, then I will pat him on the back.

When we were leaving big bend open road race, I mentioned to damon "I think I will make my sig 'so what have you done with your Z lately?'". And Damon said pseudo-agreeingly "yea."

Whats the greater purpose of a 9,000rwhp Z car that peaks at redline? NONE.
If you autocross, you realize you need about 300rwhp.
If you dragrace, then yea, 9,000rwhp is good (?)
If you roadcourse, then you realize brakes are WAY more important then HP.
If you openroadrace, then you realize 300rwhp is all you need.
If you street race, then you realize you need to save money for tickets. (also, see fagracing)
If you dirt track race, then you realize suspension is the key.

see, 9,000rwhp is kinda not that big of a deal. Build a 600rwhp Zcar, then detune it to 300 or 400twhp. Thats all anyone can handle effectively anyway.
