i just had the sh*t scared out of me. i was driving home from school and its pretty wet out and raining. i have performance tires on my Z still...no all weathers or anything. i was in the slow lane w/ the cruise set at 55mph (in a 55 zone) b/c i knew my tires suck in this weather. well im in 5th gear and i give it some gas to pick up speed to pass and slow car in front of me and next thing i know i am fishtailing across both lanes. i clipped the guardrail w/ the right rear of my car...it scratched the paint a little, broke the little side reflector, and took some paint off the fiberglass skirt under the bumper....i ended up facing the wrong way. thankfully all the other cars stopped b/c there are guardrails on both sides so i had to pull a 3 pt. turn in the middle of the road. not much damage done except me being scared beyond belief. anyone here have a similiar experience? i tried to correct when the tail was sliding out by countersteering but i obviously didn't do it right. i thought i was gonna get T-boned as i was sliding across both lanes. the adrenaline is still flowing and im all edgy now. damn this sucks
