So i show up at my dyno place, ready to rock with my flywheel in, hoping to possibly hit 500#s tq. When i showed up, there was a gsx already on the dyno, but i dont mind hanging out there and talking as we're all friends. So, i hung out for a while, while this guy dynos about 150 hp shy of what his car should make, only to find out that he has 125 compression! ouch, that sux! well, pull him off, throw me on. First pull 370 hp!! holy shit, i think i had a mild heart attack. but that subsided when i realized i left my boost controller on 13lbs only :) Ok, turn it up to 18, lets go. 450 :( wtf! ok tune a little bit, turn it up to 19lbs, 460! WTF! im 8 hp lower and get this,...25 lbs of tq less than last time! i mean, i know it was warmer and all but shit, i was only able to manage a whopping 460hp and 470tq! so i blame it on it being 75 degrees in the shop. So, just out of curiousity, i say lets do a compression test. long story short, i shouldve just blamed it on the weather. come out with my compression looking like this:
1-130
2-125
3-130
4-125
5-140
6-120so, dropped some oil in, brought em up a bit. rings = shot ....so, all things considering, i made decent #s considering compression. time for me to think things over now.

It is ridiculous claiming that video games influence children. For instance, if Pac-man affected kids born in the eighties, we should by now have a bunch of teenagers who run around in darkened rooms and eat pills while listening to monotonous electronic music. |
