Message I actually browsed through your site as well as some others before going to the alignment shop in an effort to educate myself more about this.

My damage was much less severe than yours, but I guess I must have hit the wheel at some sensitive angle. Visually, the cross-member seems perfectly straight, but it's plain to see that the T-rod bushing is not sitting in the center of the bracket. Even the screw that goes through the T-rod bushing is bent out of shape. I'll try to snap some pics of this to explain my situation better.

On an unrelated subject, I'm in the process of doing your big break upgrade. My parts supplier told me that there are diferent models of Cobra disks (all 13"), some later models are actually directional because of the center cooling fins. I'm wondering if any of those models would work with pre-1990 calipers. What year Mustang Cobra brakes did you use?
