Message	soapy water on it. The glue is designed to be activated by soap water. Be very generous with the soap water. Let it soak for about 5 minutes and peel. Pull hard when you're peeling it off. If it rips, don't worry. Get a razor blade and get another corner to start peeling. In the end, use the razor blade to scrape off any small pieces left behind. BTW, the turning purple hue is due to age of the dye in the tint. Before metallic tint (available nowadays), the tint was dyed to get the different colors. Over time, the dye fades and you get the purple.
