Message by means of a good contrasting color to your car and placed on each side. Normally, anything more is for show or fun. Get magnetic, its easy to use, would serve your purpose perfectly and no residue to get on the car (just make sure not to rub it on the paint, and keep the magnetic surface clean). Vinyl with adhesive is nice for dedicated race cars (as the sites say), not for street cars that will have to take the numbers off after an event or two.

You don't need them in the windows at all, that again, is for looks. Your doors suffice, thats the SCCA req anyway. I can't think of a single club that requires numbers in windows if you have door numbers.

At club events, a lot of times the only people who need any windsheild markings are instructors with a Big X on the top right side, or somewhere else on the car. I think there is a long time before you have to worry about that, ;)

Good luck, are you going in May?

Cheers,

Salah
