so I was just in a "race" with a honda civic (v-tec). I pull up to the light. And look over and him. His girl is in the car with him...so I figure no race. Neither of us rev, or head nod, or anything. So I figure no race. The light turns green. I go as normal, he goes as normal. I shift into second (around 3000 RPMs) and he floors it. I'm like, "what the...". So I floor it as best I can at low RPMs in 2nd. He already has a car and a half on me...maybe two. He chirps 2nd. He shifts to third. I'm not even out of 2nd yet. So I'm gaining, and do so fast. He shuts down. I fly by him...thinking again "what the...". So he beat me 60 and I didnt even think we were racing...and then shuts it down because he knows I'm about to catch him. What kind of a race is that? Did anyone ever teach him? Jeez...when am I ever going to be able to actually race a V-tec...truly race them. Fustrating.... Also...I dont street race often....just couldnt pass up the opportunity though...
