Message Sorry this is so long but i'm getting frustrated, hopefully someone can help me....

I've had my Racing Hart C5s for a few years now. Last summer the rear passenger side center cap vanished. Actually it didn't vanish, it came off, (no clue how, i guess the screws loosened themselves) but i heard and knew where it came off. It was a very heavily wooded area, and I searched that area for hours along with many comrads. No luck. Prolly didn't help that it came off at around 70-75 mph.

I tried to order them from a local shop here in KY, but about 2 people down the line, there was a mix up and instead of it being the old center cap style, it was the current cap, which appears on the C5 EVOs that exist now. Not gonna cut it. Turns out the old 3 piece C5s have been discontinued. UGH, more fun to deal with. Racing Hart themselves dont even have them anymore. Seems my only luck it to find a shop that has some sitting around.

So it turns out my g/f's dad is a pilot and he had a trip out to LA coming up. I think he called just about every shop out there in an attempt to find a place with one. Finally some luck. He gets out there, they show it to him, and its the right one. Except the label in the middle was BLACK and not silver like it needed to be, so he said to get a new label and then ship it to him. Turned out to be a big mistake. The cap got "lost in the mail". So he called the guy at the shop back and continues to call the guy every week about it, and everytime the same answer, "should be about 2 weeks". Honestly i dont think its coming.

Its been about a year now and i'm still missing a center cap and it looks like crap. Can anyone help me? Again this is the cap for the 3 piece Racing Hart C5, NOT the 1 piece C5s on the market now. (Can't explain how many times thats been mixed up) Am i out of luck, doomed to have a capless wheel for eternity?

Thanks for any help you can give me,

Eric
