I installed my UAS (via Chip Ginn) FMIC today with my stock facia. For anybody interested in doing this you will need to cut the front support brace, the brackets that hold it and one corner of each fog light housing. I used a grinder, but I'm sure there are other tools that would work. As you can see from the first pic I cut a large slice off the support brace which serves two purposes, first it has to be done for the FMIC to fit while maintaining the support brace, second, it opens up about 1/2 inch of space between the IC and the brace allowing air to hit the top of the IC. The lower inside corner of each foglight housing has to be shaved off for clearance and the lower inside corner of the brackets that hold the support brace have to be removed for clearance. Even after removing all of the above the front brace is rock solid and I'm sure it has retained a large portion of its rigidity. Other than that it was pretty straight forward and the oil cooler sits nicely where the passenger side IC used to be. I was going to bolt the facia up but I decided to have it repainted to fully cover the gray/black bar in the front. I would like to point out that the quality of the UAS FMIC and piping is excellent and both vendors who sell them, Chip Ginn and CPARK are great to deal with.
