Message Leave the power steering pump and alternator on the engine. Disconnect the hoses from the PS reservoir and let the fluid drain to the floor. One hose has a hose clamp and the other has a large brass banjo bolt. The alternator has 3 or 4 connectors located behind the passenger light near the HICAS. Disconnecting them allows you to pull the alternator with all the wires attached. Big time saver in my book. Also, you will only have to loosen the a/c belt as the others will come out with the motor. Be patient with the 'bastard' bolt on the a/c compressor. A crows-foot wrench will help here. Do not put back on install.

Leave the driver's side pre-cat on and pull it with engine. You also don't need to disconnect the steering coupler like it says in the Tech. There is plenty of room to pull it with it connected.
