Message Even large Turbo manufacturers have been separating the wastegate and turbo wheel outlets in the housings for quite sometime on their high performance applications because it makes the turbos so much more efficient.

Here is a pic of what our wastegate separator looks likein a turbo housing before and after.....
Turbo manufactures are making exhaust housings like this ......The skyline turbos are one of the housings that come from the factory machined like this.

I have had a description in the Ad in classifieds about how it works since the product first went out.....
Here is what the Ad reads....

This is also known as divorced waste gates….
The reason this type of down pipe works better is because the exhaust coming off the turbo wheel is spinning extremely fast and whipping in a circle….If the exhaust comes off the turbo wheel and inters a much larger area it becomes more turbulent slowing the exhaust velocity….also when the wastegate opens the two turbulent exhaust gases fight each other causing more turbulence.
By keeping the exhaust in a pipe similar to the size of the exhaust wheel and separating the wastegate you dramatically speed up the velocity of the exhaust gases causing the turbo’s to spool about 500 rpm sooner
then an open pipe design.
The wastegate separator bolts to the down pipe and fits in the turbo exhaust housing creating a perfect circle for the exhaust to exit like an external wastegate turbo.

This has been proven to work over and over by the hundreds of people that have them.....When ever we take off older style downpipes and especially 3" the car owners are always amazed by the difference.

The power band is much bigger because the turbos make boost much sooner.....It also makes the power smoother.
