Message	I went to a mitsubishi dealer (cause my friend was doing a trade in on his eclipse) and i asked about the 3000GT. The dealer even told me that they burn a little oil. Not flaming but maybe ur friend put some additive in there like STP or something to slow down the oil consumption till it reaches 3000 miles. But i was told that they do. MY 2¢
