I got a speeding ticket back in 1993 in Las Vegas. The fine was $165. I couldn't afford to pay it . I was moving to Utah anyways , so I didn't pay it and moved. Got a letter saying my driver's License was going to get suspended in Nevada; therefore, I got a Utah driver's license before it got suspended. Moved to Arizona in 1995 . My utah driver's license was going to expire in 98. Went to get AZ driver's license. I got denied because of this national driver system saying I was in- eligible in Nevada. I renewed my Utah driver's license by mail because Nevada wanted $265 to clear it. It had went to bench warrant. Now my Utah license is up for renewal. Can't do it by mail. I decided to call up Nevada and pay up the $265. I gave the DMV my info. The guy says it was paid in 1998 . But to get out of suspension mode to clear I have to pay $46 to clear the suspension. I didn't tell him I didn't pay the ticket. If that is what is showing on his system then great. I sent him a check for the $46 amount. I wonder if there is statue of limitations on traffic tickets or they must of purged their database of old unpaid tickets.
