:::So, how small is the engagement range then? Is it almost the same as stock? I'm just trying to get a feel for driveability... do you ever stall your Z just driving around town?
I've stalled it maybe a couple of times, and that's only because I tried to take off without giving it any gas, lol. The engagement point is adjustable like other RPS clutches. My clutch is adjusted to have the engagement point maybe a couple inches off the floor? That gives me enough room in case the engagement point moves a little when the clutch gets hot. So you can really adjust it like any other clutch. Also it feels like the engagement point is 1/2 inch long. Its probably going to change a little when we take it out again to check the floater plate....probably the last kink being worked out right now.
