This IS a competition about who makes the best chip. Why would anyone buy anything but that if the price is right?This is information that Devon has shared with the Z community that will allow use to tune our own cars and understand what the ECU does. Devon does not sell anyone of the parts listed on the site and is not selling the information. it is information to be shared among the community and improved upon.
That works if the consumer is capable of working out flaws AND it's fundamentally safe to start with. If Ash thinks the program is flawed then why not come out and make it public??
I think my post to Devan is rather simple to understand. I am offering to do that. Why does it matter who does it? If you'll spend the money then would you do it? Just so my position is vehimently clear, this IS about a product. A product that costs money to make and buy. If we/I/you have a product that is better, with the advent of the internet, it is almost mandated that we prove just that. And at the end of the day if it's bearable by the consumer it'll sell. I/we will help as much as we can without having to eat rice. I try to do that on a daily basis and I honestly think that the bulk of consumers here appreciate that. I do not think that anyone here is asking for free performance products that are tried and true nor do I think that anyone here is going to give them away.
