Im looking for something in the 250-350range. There are just so many out there right now. While I plan to research, I just want your opinions to narrow down the candidates. My current richoh camera only holds 20 images at 640x480 and it distorts colors, pixelates things in the distance, and forces you to use lcd screen as viewfinder so battery life sucks. It is kinda old though and represents older technology. It has served me well though the last few years. I am constantly taking pictures of cars I see in various places. As much as I use it, It is really going to be worth my while to get something that can hold more images, higher resoultion, and preferably on flash media cards.
Any help you guys could give would be appreciated.
