:It's one thing if you see him on the road and get him to go, but if you're just cruising along and he lures you into a race I thought that would be entrapment. i was rolling along at 85mph (in a 55)... he just couldnt get a good 'gun' on me cause of traffic and how close he was to the road.
i got lucky. when he lit me up, i *immediately* turned on my interior lights, waved to him to acknowledge his presence, pulled WAY off the road, and at a 20 degree angle to the freeway, all windows down, radio turned all the way down, hands on wheel.
i called him trooper not sir, my interior was clean (except i took my shoes off), and my glove box was closed (with a U2 DVD playing, lol, whew).
so there was nothing he had on me other then pacing me at 7 over (which is true). I never challanged him or questioned anything. Once he loosened up, he asked me "how fast have you had this thing", i said "to about 160, but i was too preoccupied to care", thats when he said "yea, mine will do about 160"
