Message	it works best. Now mix and apply it to back of vent. Not to much so it does not squish out. To wedge dash back down while drying roll up a newspaper and cover with plastic and tape it in the rolled up position. Test that it wedges dash down tight before gluing. Then apply glue wedge paper in dash over vent and allow 24hrs to cure. Did mine yrs ago and it is still holding tight.
